At Crystal’s Closet, we are very blessed with health, relationships and a thriving business. Because of this, we feel obligated to give back to both the local and global community. We set aside a certain percentage of our profits every year for projects that we feel very strongly about.
On a local level, our first priority is to donate clothing that has not sold to local charities like Good Council and House of Faith Minisrty, a battered women’s shelter right here in the Poughkeepsie area. Crystals will also donate to other establishments that have requested anonymity and if you know of a charity in need, please let us know.
In addition, we sponsor local sports teams like soccer, basketball and baseball. We are active in supporting the local arts as well.
On a global level, we have thrown our weight behind Rotary International which is committed to eradicating polio from the world and is very close to accomplishing this goal. The owners are members of their local club and serve as officers and/or board members.
From time to time, Crystal’s Closet also participates in fashion shows that raise money for both local and national organizations.

Our coat drive will help the women and children from the House of Faith Minisrty, a battered women’s shelter right here in the Poughkeepsie area. (Unwrapped Toys, travel size toiletries, and clothes welcome)
